My Jack Russell Cooper has a pulled muscle in his front left leg, and can barely put pressure on it.
He hobbles when he walks, and often 'hangs' the leg.
He's only 4 1/2.
Is there anything I can do, or does he just have to ride it out?
Not yet, he can walk, but hobbles, but doesn't wince in pain or anything, other dog owners says it's a pull.
Cooper is very healthy otherwise.

believe it or not this putz is a vet so id listen to himTake him to the vet, you cheap ass. Don't give him any meds as it may interfere with your vet's diagnostic procedures.
Now, if there's absolutely no way your dog can get checked any time soon, try hosing the leg with cold water for 10 minutes, 3-4 times a day.
