she had a lump removed behind her left knee feb 27th. sent to pathology and came back as "synovial cell sarcoma". very upsetting time in the household. she is scheduled for an additional surgery next friday at colorado limb specialists in denver. we were referred there because they are suppose to be the best. she will lose alot of her hamstring and calf muscles due to the new "cleanup". the doctor said it is a very rare cancer that shows up in the lymph nodes and feel very fortunate that it hasnt traveled throughout her body. once the cancer is cleaned out she will continue with radiation treatments and cat scans every 3 months to insure the cancer doesnt come back. the lump that was removed was very close to a nerve behind the knee but not touching it in which the doctor said the leg can be saved which is of great relief to her but still very depressed our the matter. no one wants there name with the word cancer following it.

this isnt a "woo is me" story but buster had a thread about if you would stand by your significant other if paralyzed etc and there would be nothing that would separate me from her. vows are "being there in sickness and in health til death do us part."

fu cancer!:finger:

Attitude is such a big factor in beating something like this, and it sounds like you and your wife are in good shape in that regard. Best wishes and may God bless.

There are now more and more places (clinics, hospitals, etc) having more success against cancer these days. If you can, always keep your options open. A lot of different opinions out there on what is the "best treatment" for each patient depending on the clinic.

BOL on your battle. I have no doubt you will succeed.:aktion033
