Who has a slingbox here??

I am going to buy one at Best Buy later today. What are your experiences with slingboxes? I was suprised at how cheap these things are. Hell I would have paid $500 for this technology.

You cant get anything cheaper than a slingbox

I have one, but 3 timesnow it has stopped working saying it cant find my slingbox, pisses me the fuck off. I'd like to use it on a phone, what kind of phone do I need? Hell i cant even get it setup right to use on my laptop remotely

I use it with a Tmobile SDA. (Which is pretty outdated.) I eventually want to get a nokia n95 and put it on that.

You're problem might be with the firewall or router.

Ok I have had my slingbox for about a year now. I love it. Yes It goes out on cell phones alot. But since I got my tmobile wing it has worked pretty good. I have never had problems with it on my laptop. Love the fact i can change the channel to. Also setup is easy as hell and you can call them and they will walk you through any trouble shooting.

If i recall correctly slingbox charges you for the cell phone application as well....

I have used it on my T-mobile Dash and am currently using it on my T-Mobile Shadow (what else would I be using!)

I think my issues stem from the bandwidth of t-mobile data service

If using for cell phone, be sure to check the slingbox website to ensure your phone is compatible
