Something similar to Word that's free.....any ideas?

Got a new laptop and it doesn't have shit on it. Was wondering if anyone knows of something I can download for free that is similar to Word?

I know you guys have all the answers!

probably find a good quality word program very cheap, but if not there are plenty of decent ones found online. the only reason I put the google one up is cause it is web based thus you would not even need to save anything to your comp.
