still gotta like that championship the lightning got in 2004 and think that trade they made Brad Richards and goalie Johan Holmqvist from the Tampa Bay Lightning for goaltender Mike Smith, forwards Jussi Jokinen and Jeff Halpern and a fourth-round pick in 2009 was a good one for the Tampa.

Well, they have won three in a row and after this years dismall season they should be motivated over the summer. Perhaps Marty and Vinny can make one last push for the cup together.

I see lightning stuff everywhere here with no embarrassment. Wearing Iowa gear nowadays is a another story EOM. They are becoming the Bitch of the BIG 10 (JK)

Real fans are real fans, I see Bills stuff everywhere in these parts, they have great real proud fans all over.

What I can't handle is FAKE, front running fans of many a team.

Here is a stat on how bad things are in IOWA CIYY...........

Since the turn of the century, taking all sports into consideration, IOWA has fewer Big Ten Championships than ANY other team in the conference.

This years conference championship was the first in four years for the Hawkeye wrestling squad.

They have sent nine wrestlers to the NCAA's championship and will be a contender to win the whole ball of wax.............but not favored.

Fishhead, I could care less about Ok St, I graduated from OU. If it wasn't for their wrestling and golf success, they wouldn't have an athletic program.

Fish...I wrestled in Iowa from 1969-1970 Division 2...watched Dan Gable a bunch of times...got my east coast ass handed to me more times than I can remember from guys in Iowa and Oaklahoma...

And I am still waiting for a Philly team to win it all...it has been 27 years and counting...
