Fellas I would like a little advice here if you guys dont mind...

They say that I owe them 200$ and that are going to report me to a credit agency and send my account off to collections

I replied to them they dont have my SSN # so they can't do nothing.. They reply back in the email my SSN # and say they are sending me to something like deragatory 3rd credit or somethin...

Should I be worried?

I really don't think that I owe them the money...

Tell them what they tell their customers, check is in the mail. By their standards that will buy you about a year

better to try to resolve the dispute, call and ask to speak to upper managment, and sort it out.

If you dont owe them, you shoudnt be worried....

I dont like leaving things hanging

Just because a company doesn't have you SS# doesn't mean they can't get a hold of the right credit report. This is a major misconception, If they have the correct address and DOB they can cross reference it with your name etc...As far as Bodog i have no idea what they would do if anything. Just for future reference, collection company's don't need your SSN to find you in the CRA's database...

When they call you to ask about the so-called debt reply that you'll need a photocopy of their DL sent to you, that there'll be a $150 withdrawal fee and that they'll have to wait another seven days due to a "bank holiday".

No, they cannot and are not going to report you to any credit reporting agency - UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES

I would call bodog and ask why you owe $200. The only way you could owe them money is if you made a deposit of $200 and didn't have the funds in your savings/checking acct and loss $200. Otherwise you can't bet there unless you fund your acct so I don't understand how you owe them money. Keep us updated as I am curious.

F'EM. THEIRS NOT A DAMN THING THEY CAN DO TO YOU, JUST A IDLE THREAT.

Years back I did a bank eft with Bodog. Screwed up and did not have the $ in the account. Got notified about a week or two later from Bodog. I had no $ in Bodog at the time, so I just blew it off. My account was closed and I thought that was the end of it. About a year or maybe two later, I got a letter from a collection agency. I had no clue what it was. Sure enough, after a few phone calls, it was from Bodog.

I don't know what the collection agency would have done, but I am very protective of my credit report, so I paid it immediately. And besides, I rightfully did owe it to them, so I should actually have paid it much sooner

Is it possible that a deposit you made with them was denied by your bank? Or the funds weren't available when they made the deposit?

Funny, people (or I, for that matter) would like to know why they think I owe them money so I can settle the mess, I wouldnt first worry about them reporting me.

I might be wrong but it sounds like you're about as 'guilty' as it gets.
