This hurts for me to say as I am a lifelong Pistons fan. After the way they have handled the Western Conference this year and recentley with no Ray Allen in the lineup, they are the best.

The reason they are the best is not so much the big 3 but they are defense is so much better than anyone else's defense.

This looks to be one of the most entertaining NBA in years. The playoffs should be fun to watch with alot of great matchups. Now I am not saying they cant be beat but I would be surprised.

The lakers won't make the finals fishhead, but as a lifelong Mavericks fan I will be the first to admit that they won't be making it either, cause ther are a bunch of puzzies.

Don't be fooled by regular season success.

I highly doubt the Pistons lose to the Celtics in a best of 7. Detroit is not going to fall to this manufactured team of "superstars".

Boston is not hands down the best team. Although I like the humble attitude they seem to take on, they don't have the type of players I want come playoff time. So many things change between now and then anyway. I remember Boston getting shit on by the Suns which was one of the worst performances I've seen from any team this year.

The Orlando Magic would have a better chance of beating this club in a 7 game series than the Pistons IMO.

See ya in Orlando for game four.............which will be the swing game in the series with the Celts leading 2-1 at the time.

I like the Magic, but after spending some time in Orlando, nobody believes in their ability to win a big series in the playoffs.

Orlando is way too slow on the perimiter IMO to be a serious threat. They can please the eye at times with pretty looking ball, but a little bit fools gold.

Because it is completely and utterly ridiculous, that's why.

yeah because you say so? Orlando is 2-1 against the Celts this year while Detroit is 1-2. The Magic are playing as well as anyone in the East and have a solid team with a superstar who can take over games and probably the comeback player of the year in Hedo. Stop hating on others' opinions.

Pistons are still the best team in the east until proven otherwise. Boston has to beat Detroit in the playoffs before we can consider them the best. The regular season ain't nuthin. It's the playoffs that matter.

I just explained up above why, again you appear to be a guy too reliant on regular season. The sharp NBA guys have a unique ability to see how the matchups will play out and what teams strengths and weaknesses are, which show in a 7 game series. Besides Boston appeared to be better to me even without KG in Orlando. Not hating on opinions, just telling the truth. If it weren't for opinions such as these, then there wouldn't be sharp one, so I am thankful.

sorry I forgot who I was talking to. Let em play. Note, I did not say Orlando would beat Boston, I said I thought they had a better chance than Detroit. That is an opinion and an opinion only. It is neither right nor wrong regardless of what you say. Same goes for your statements

opinions can be wrong, so to say Orlando has a better chance than Detroit would simply be a bad opinion
