Memphis was my last leg of a 75-team ML parlay

Seriously I started on January 15 with $100 with my goal to either make $2000 profit or hit 100 in a row.

First leg was Serena Williams -5000 over Meng Yuan in the Aussie Open which she won 6-3, 6-1.

A few close calls along the way:
Roger Federer -8000 over Janko Tipsarevic in a match he won 10-8 in the 5th set on January 18. That was the 7th leg of the parlay.

The very next day Texas Longhorns squeaked out a 69-67 win over Colorado as a 30/1 fave.

Wisconsin barely beat Michigan in the 19th game, winning 64-61, by then I still hadn't even doubled my money.

I was then on cruise control until game 32 when Tennessee Tech barely kept it alive with a 87-85 OT victory over Jacksonville State.

Finally just over a week ago with nearly $1700 on the line, my heart skipped as UNLV beat TCU in a thrilling game as a -1100 favorite in the MWC quarterfinals 89-88.

The biggest ML I tok was last night, UCLA -16000. The lowest ML I took was -600 S.Clara over Loyola Marymount in a game they won easily 66-46.

Since there won't be as many money-line opportunities for me, I figure I will break the bank with a profit of $2013.87. Just over two months, a few nail baiters, and 75 games later.

I started it as more of a curiousity to see how far it would go. Could have easily have died at those 3 games I mentioned.

Even being very selective, upsets happen.

Today I had four teams all of which won by 15 or more, but I certainly sweated a few during the Tennessee game.

Congrats!!! So you were able to add games as you go? I know Bookmaker lets you leave 2 open spots which I like. Where can you keep adding like this?

I hit my ridiculous $$$ line parlay on the huge chalk, but UConn cost me huge today. I refuse to believe USD is one of the 100 best teams in the country. They are feisty and extremely well coached but SO unathletic and bad.

First things first, GYNO POMARE.

Second, I would either bet straight if it was just one game that day or parlay multi-games. Then just take the balance and do it again the next day (or whatever day my next bet was).

It started out more as a tennis thing, but my last 56 bets were in college basketball.

Really more of an experiment than anything, and I think my idea stemmed from our old WSOP buy-in parlay thing we talked about a few years ago.

Oh Ok. Makes sense now. I thought it was one parlay you kept adding to.

Gyno Pomare was out of his gorg today. I still say he has 2 left feet. If you had never seeen him play before and just watched today, you would think he is an NBA prospect. Same guy who scored 2 points at home vs Pepperdine in WCC tourney

I'm pretty sure any book would welcome with open arms a bettor asking for a 75-team open parlay though.:lolBIG:

CD,
Thought I explained this a few posts up. I simply kept the money in there and rolled over the winnings to the next bet.

It would be like walking up to the counter and betting once. Then going back cashing the ticket and letting it ride, 74 more times.

Not like I said, give me a 75-teamer I'll let you know later who I want to bet on.

Yes, I likely wouldn't have posted this thread if I lost on game 7. If I had lost on the UNLV-TCU game, game #68 I would have posted pretty much the same thread.

It is not mean to be a brag thread at all, but rather an interesting experiment.

Team WSOP, the all-in 7 times, that could've been great. Started 3-0 and then was abandoned for no reason.
