Will a Canadian bank allow a US resident to open a Canadian bank account, which would appear to offer possibilites for offshore funding not available from US banks?

Not sure, there was some discussion on this before, so a search engine
search might be helpful. I don't know if you can open the account online
or have to go in person. Then there is the issue of having a Canadian
address to send your money to, if you win. And that Canada, as the
51st state {or is that 52?} of the USA, may soon cum down on gambling
& the bank system in the same way as her daddy did. Someone who
has a clue may be along shortly, or in the next day or two, to tell you.
But why Canada & not somewhere else, a UK or Hong Kong bank?

Where do you live? Drive to Canada, open a President's Choice bank account. They give you a sheet of paper, and then you get a bank account. You wouldn't even really need a real address.

Are you Canadian? How many states are in the USA? 50? 51? 52?

Add 1 to that number for Canada and you have the real # of states there.

wrong

prove your point. Did Canada commit to Iraq? No, they did not. If their the 51st state, smart ass, why didn't they?

this should be real good, impress us this your acumen
