Newport Beach or Laguna Niguel would be better. Can't beat the weather in Orange County.

Average house price in OC is somewhere around $600k for a 2 bedroom ranch. At least it was before the crash. It's probably a bit less than that now. Salaries are higher than most areas of the country but not high enough for the average person to own a home. House rentals are $2000+ per month.

Beach communities are nicer than mostly-Hispanic Anaheim/Santa Ana. People don't really get too much into your business here but they have a tendency to be more shallow. There are a lot of exceptions to that rule so I'm sure you can find someone less shallow to hang out with.

That's what I was figuring. Don't have anything against hispanics, it's just that I like a mix of people rather than an abundance of any one race. Seems like it wouldn't be worth the move, plus it's too expensive.
Is Vegas the same?

Hey Mr. L.

:toast:

You going to the Bash this August? I think I might spend the week there.

Doberman says that tapas place, Fireflys, is crowded on Friday nights so I figured whoever wants to can go during the week.

I have lived in Anaheim for about 25 years now and it is not what it used to be. Hispanics have over-populated the city. I have nothing against Hispanics as a lot of my friends are. But because of the over-population Hispanics the culture and lifestyle took a shift. The city removed all of the decent eateries and businesses in favor for $.99 stores, discount shopping stores, check cashing places and payday loan shops. When I first moved into my current apartment complex 7 years ago I had a variety of neighbors from different races, some nice looking college girls and some nice blossoming teenage girls. Now my apartment complex is filled with kids, too many residents (can't find an empty parking place if I have a guest come visit) and shitty cars that will door ding if you are not careful. We have some regular dumpster divers and there is always shopping carts left in the complex.

If you are considering on moving to the area I would recommend visiting for a week and get a minor feel of the city. See what it would be like going to the pharmacy, supermarket or walmart and then you might think twice about relocating.

I split Ca. in 2000 the Clinton Gore era was nice and rosy but made Ca. way to expensive and guess I got out when the getting was good.

Hate to be sitting on a home there now.

So in 2002 I went back to Ca. to work as was laid off,and the hespanic population must of doubled since I left, with the robust economy back then.

Was just unreal all the Spanish speaking workers every place I patronized.

We were just talking about that at work today. I mentioned how my local Del Taco no longer has Mexicans f ucking up your order at the drive-thru and how they hired pimply faced white kids to work the registers. I said it reminded me of 1988 when McDonald's started hiring a bunch of retarded people to work there and drool all over your fries. I now realized that it actually is cheaper to hire a Mexican to work fast food in Southern California then a retard because if you hired a retard you have to go through one of those temp type agencies to get the medical liability releases.

California is incredible. The weather is unreal and the high cost of living is well worth it. Beautiful girls, weather, beaches, mountains, deserts, Mexico, Canada, sporting events galore and healthy living. Did I mention the weather and girls? Do it now. You only live once. Quality of life is all that matters. The:WTF: time is now!
