it is not 5.20-4.00 dude it's 5200-4000 and to make it clear the field is an excellent bet up to -180 or so.

The field is not a great bet for the Masters...only a handful of pros usually win this one..Zach Johnson's win last year was a fluke...IMO only Tiger, Phil, or VJ should win....

Nobody ?'s he is the greatest golfer out there I'll take 80-100 golfers against 1 even if it's really 10-15 against 1.

You have a top notch field here not alot of sponsor exemptions actually 0 for this tourney.

I'm going to put a little money on Jim Furyk..He looks like he's rounding nicely into form after quietly finishing second last week..He was playing very good early in the season where he scored a 5th place finish at the Mercedes. Then for some reason he took a month off from golf..He came back to the Arnold Palmer and finished 31st two weeks ago before finishing second last week. With his ability to putt Augusta's fast greens, I would give him a decent chance just in case Tiger should have a hiccup.

<TABLE class=tborder id=post5239713 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=alt1 id=td_post_5239713 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #fdde82 1px solid">Field is weakest of the 4 Majors by far. Lot's of charity invites and washed up prior champions. Doral field was much stronger. Tiger played miserably at Doral and still lost by only two shots.

It will come down to course conditions. If course is wet and playing long, Tiger at even money is the smart play. If it is dry and fast, many more players will have a shot (Like past winners Z. Johnson and Weir) so instead of beating 10 players he will have to beat 50.

True Odds:
Wet and damp conditions - Tiger -132
Dry conditions - Tiger +184

There will be a more competitive field at the Zurich Classic this week.

There's no questioning He's a false Favourite and if My life depended on it I would have woods but at some time in your Betting life you have to decide, " am I going to be serious in my Gambling or just win some lose more type" and having a mentality of betting exposed Favourites will crucify you in long term. :drink:

It also has to be remembered that in Betting terms the Tournaments so far have been Micky Mouse, the sheer amount of extra Books and Exchange interest will ensure that Chalky drifts in the Market as the first Principle of Bookmaking is, LAY THE JOLLY. :drink:

Mmm.

Johnson, wier 03, olazabal 99 and 94, o-meara 98, crenshaw 95, langer 93, couples 92, woosnam 91, mize 87, nicklaus 86

Big hands you got there! The reality is that there are plenty of winners from left field in this one.

Johnson, Weir, and Mize are one and done...the others you mention have a history at Agusta...list is ALWAYS shorter than the other majors....
