YTD (1-0) High Roller's Wednesday morning play

I like Oakland (+102).
Harden is a stud and rumors are that he has been talking about this start for the last few weeks. Usually a pitcher doesn't start thinking about his first start until a couple days before the game but not Harden. Harden want's and WILL get this monkey off his bank being the Red Sox.

Lines this good don't come often so when they do you have to jump on them. I am all over Oakland here for a large play. Sleep in and wake up with a smile when you check your increased balance in your account.

Play is not bad but....

If Harden has inface been talking about this start then this is a bad thing for you trust me. I have played baseball all my life and am still playing to this day. In the past whenever me or one of my teammates would be thinking about their starts for a long time they tend to overthink the situation. The best thing to do as a pitcher is to just go out and pitch, not overthink the situation.

One of my teammates learned he would be scheduled for a start against the second place team in our division and our rivals and thought about it for a week straight. He went in very very confident. Ended up getting shelled because he was trying to hard to make his pitches. We lost 11-7.

A's can win but if this play is large because you think Harden will come out and dominate I disagree.

not bashing the pick....but how do you honestly know when a professional pitcher starts thinking about his first start

My brother is a Sports Medical Director for a top University Hospital and he does a lot of public speaking to Head and Assistant trainers in the MLB and NHL. He is very good friends with Steve Sayles who is the Head Trainer for the Oakland A's. He talked to Steve before they left for Japan and Steve said Harden was the most focused pitcher he has seen and that Rich was very juiced about facing the Red Sox. I would never make a large play without some sort of inside information.

I wanna say GL on your play first. But how is that considered inside info? Your brother talked to his friend who told him that Harden is focused and excited to face the Sox? What about Lester? How do u know if he's not just as focused and excited to pitch a solid performance in the opening series game in Japan?

who like to bash for no reason. I also believe the bashers are jealous of posters that win. They are NOT gamblers and just show up to bash. If they were true gamblers they would know better than to bash another member. We are all here for 1 purpose and that is to make serious $$$. Good luck everyone.

High Roller I have to admit that in your first post I brushed you off as another poser who would come and post several huge plays...lose a few and disappear. But, the more I listen to what you have to say I have to admit that I am becoming convinced the high roller image you portray is probably what you really are. I have seen you post nothing but solid winners and todays play and the Harden call just reassured me you are for real.

Definitley looking for your plays in the future and gl!
