On the 29th I see this game. Is this a interleague game?

Dont tell me they opened up our sacred sport in Japan at 6 am to now have more spring training.

Yes, they play the Dodgers in LA for three "SPRING TRAINING" games.

They resume play in OAKLAND for the regular season.........this allows both teams some rest from the long travel and not have to play another team with a distinct advantage.

Good idea, but THREE games???

completly idiotic, in fact the premis of needing a MONTH of these bullshit games is whats idiotic. Spring Traing is cool for a week or two, after a while its just stupid, and this weekend is dumber than all.

Why would the Red Sox agree to this crap?? One game could be the difference in their season and they're jetting off to a different time zone right before the season starts.

Send the Royals or Pirates over there where it won't matter come October.

I believe they're playing at least 1 game at the LA Coliseum and it's sold out (over 100,000 tickets).

Throw-back game to when the Dodgers first came to L.A. from Brooklyn. Expecting 115,000 now and they have no idea where in the hell everybody is going to park. Shades of Wally Moon, Frank Howard.

I don't know, but I'm going to do a rookie, gamblers mistake and bet against the Red Sox till they lose a game in this series.

How could they give a rat's ass about winning any of these games, after playing games starting at 6am in Japan, going into the start of the season?

fat tony you are right. i read in the boston herald today they are ALL messed up after that flight from Japan...john Henry was asked how the flight was and his quote was something to the effect of "we feel like we are in outer space"

i dont bet preseason but if you do, the sox have to be an auto go against right now...
