does anyone think the media should get the hell off Drew Petersons back until some shred of proof is aquired--- the dude may be guilty of being a player but have seen no proof of murder-- what if he really is innocent? It has happened in CHI TOWN before!

The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Absolutely no chance he is innocent.

The guy is guilty as sin. Only a matter of time before he is charged in one or both of the murders of his wives.

The problem with Drew Peterson, besides being a pompous ass, is he seeks out the media.

i agree...until they have some REAL evidence, the guy is free as a bird. But if he did do it, and being a cop, he sure as hell knew how to cover his tracks and will probably never be caught.

I know they camp out, but he grants the interviews too. All he has to say is talk to my lawyer. Instead you see him on Geraldo, CNN, and any other place that will have him.

certain amount of truth to what you say--however why should he have to hire and pay for a lawyer when there have been no charges filed--only suspision and inuendo---remember the dry cleaner in n.y. whom was sued by the attorney for millions? cost the dry cleaner and his fam hundreds of thousands and practically bankrupted his bus.. attorneys are not cheap--always a high price to pay

I'm sure he is in a union and can get legal help through them. He doesn't look like he is grieving much. I don't believe he did it, but I believe he paid someone to do it.

You're comparing dead women to a dry cleaner? He doesn't have to hire an attorney if he doesn't choose to. He can keep his mouth shut and go about his business. It seems to me he is the one who is voluntarily giving the media access to him. Also, just because he isn't charged doesn't mean he isn't guilty. Plenty of guilty people walking around who are never charged or convicted. He may well indeed be innocent but he certainly acts suspiciously.

:toast:If the guy is guilty -lock him up forever. The fact is neither one of us know the answer to this question. I am not advocating that a guilty man walks- just thought that this topic of the role of the media screams for comment. In this time of the Patriot Act and governmental invasion into everyones affairs there is a need for checks and balances. Remember the recent online gambling legislation and just whom may looking at your financial transactions as well as other aspects of your personall bus. The less exposure to the masses the better--- gl on your future bets and MUM is the word!:toast:

He went on a local radio show and they were going to have a "win a date with Drew Petersen " contest till the station pulled the plug on that idea.

He's not looking for attention is he..it's all the media's fault:nopityA:

if he wouldn't talk, they would go away...he's a media whore....dude
it must be wonderful to approach life in such simplistic fashion-- perhaps you should suggest this to M.R. Peterson. He must not be smart enough to think of it without help. However he has pulled off the perfect crime according to you-- a bit ironic dont you think---- %^_
