I'm seeing some posts on betting 5 inning lines instead of moneyline. Can you explain why it is better? Thanks.

depends on how good a bullpen is and how long a pitcher can last. if you have a stud pitcher going w/ a horrible closer or pen you might take the 1st 5. also with preseason the starter wont go more than 5 or 6 innings.

Sometimes you like under a total because of 2 good starters but in the beginning they're only going 6-7 innings and you don't want the pen to screw it up..

Other times you may like over a total because the 2 starters have high eras and you have 2 good hitting teams. So you play the first 5 over..

good luck whichever way you choose:toast:
