I read about this awhile back. I think it was here but not sure. Basically, the theory was that you bet under on games where the home team is leaving for a road trip after the game. Both teams and the umpire crew will be jumping on a plan after the game to get to their next destination. The games tend to move along as the umps strike zone is more generous and the players are anxious to leave. Anyone heard of this or have any stats? Thanks.
