Doug Davis of the Diamonbacks recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer and will begin treatment very soon. However he is still going to pitch his first 2 starts this season. Ofcourse I wish him the best and hope he has a full recovery but my question is somewhat selfish. How will this affect his perfomance both physically and most of all MENTALLY. Bottom line can we get an edge as bettors here? I told you this was selfish. Will he be more or less focused on baseball. Last season as a diamonback- 4.25 E.R.A.---13-12.
