I asked a question before about whether or not I have to worry about wsex or matchbook paying out, I also wanted to ask if I will run into any problem when they mail a check to me and I try cashing it at a bank here in canada. Will I be able to cash it at my bank or any moneymart location without a problem? I heard a lot of financial institutions are blocking any kind of transactions associated with online betting. Im depositing a larger sum of money and am worried about me money disappearing or if they do pay out, im concerned about not being able to cash the check they send. I've only heard good things about wsex and matchbook so i guess at this point im worried moreso about not being able to cash their check or bank draft anywhere.

I hope you can get back to me so I can stop worrying about it.

Going by past experience dealing with WSEX I want to say I am very confident that you will be paid if you win and decide to withdraw funds (as long as your rollover, if any, is competed) without a problem.

WSEX has been in business longer than most books and have yet to stiff a player who won on the square. They have run an excellent shop for years.

Regarding cashing your check at a bank in Canada, natrually I cannot speak for the particular bank you do business wth but I do not know of any cases where checks from WSEX issued to a player by his withdrawal request that have bounced or been refused to be cashed by a bank.

My advice is to keep your withdrawals under $10,000 (Canada or not) and allow plenty of time for your check to be processed and shipped to you.

When you do receive a check simply deposit it into your checking account and allow for the normal time for your account to be credited. I don't see any reason why any bank in Canada would reject a perfectly good cashiers check from WSEX's processor bank.

Nothing in the gambling business is 100% certain when it comes to money matters but the same is true in many business transactions. If you are seriously worried why not try a smaller deposit to begin with and see how that goes.

Also if you have not signed up at WSEX yet use this link WSEX so that they know you are from The Rx.com and if you do have any proplems I will be able to help you. For the record I can also help you if you do not use one of our links but it helps this site when you sign up at a book by using our links. Signing up is free, you can deposit anytime you are ready.

Regarding a problem down the road with a bank, while I believe that is a real longshot, it is something you have to deal with on your own. I cannot call your bank for you and ask why they won't cash your check. However if they reject your check for some reason I can help you work with WSEX to find an alternative method to collect your withdrawal.

I am always available to help Rx.com posters at wilheim@therx.com CC to Person19481950@yahoo.com.

Bottom line here is you are gambling on sports in a foreign country but by choosing a top notch book like WSEX you are eliminating as much of the risk of not getting paid as possible.

Try to relax and have some confidence in your book, a longtime established book like WSEX that enjoys an excellent reputation plus there is always help available to you from this website if needed.

From personal experience, I have never had a problem with a check or bankwire in years of sportsbetting.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed in this business but that is why they call it gambling. Try to remember if you use an Rx.com book like WSEX you have recourse should a problem arise.

Best of luck, wilheim...

I can't recall hearing about anyone having issues cashing\depositing a check from Wsex-and that includes US players.

I highly, highly doubt that you'll have any trouble up north.

thank you

thank you very much for the prompt reply. It puts my mind at ease. I signed up on wsex and plan to deposit funds tomorrow. Looking forward to the whole thing and am optimistic after reading the replies. A lot of people here in my city use the provincial lottery, www.wclc.com to bet on sports and it is a big ripoff constantly needing to hit 3 game parlays to win anything. I'd rather bet online. Anyways, thanks again
