For The Season (0-0)(even units)

Baseball season is finally here. That crap over in Japan does not count in my book. We should have never started the season over there. I don’t mind us playing games over there, but not the opener. That is wrong in my opinion.

The key for me in bases is to not play those heavy favs, even though they are as tempting as can be. For me if I like to big favs, I will just put them together in a parlay and no more than a two team parlay. I do not play runlines either. All plays for me are also just one unit. In baseball I really don’t think any one pick is really that much stronger than another. Again, just my opinion.

I usually come out ahead in bases. It is not too often I have losing seasons. I wish I could say that for all sports, but I can’t. College football and mlb are my best sports to play. What I win in those sports I usually give back in the others. I am a very small player and am not looking to get rich. For me this is a form of entertainment that I have a chance to make some cash on. I usually do not have very lengthy write-ups either in baseball, if any at all.

Atlanta -165 vs Washington……………..This would probably be one of those games that I would take on a moneyline parlay if there were other games today, so I am sort of forcing this play. I usually don’t like to lay over -150 on any single bet, but I will make an exception since this is the opener. Everybody is talking about the Phillies and Mets this year. I am a huge Phillies fan. This Atlanta team scares me this year and I would not be shocked if they are in the NL East battle the entire season. I think who ever stays the healthiest between these three teams will win the division. I know the Nats are at home on national TV in their brand new ballpark and that does make it tempting to play them, but I am not going against Hudson here. Perez the Nationals opening day starter, is not a true ace by an means. He is just the best the Nats have to offer. Again, I hate laying -165, but I am going to tonight.

Good Luck Everybody!! Lets all have a great baseball season.
