Also sets up future such spots with runners on the corners. Send the man from first and fake the break for the plate, which usually leads to the middle IF cutting off the catcher's throw and the trail runner slides into second without contest.

Shields had some opening day gitters but settled in nicely. Garza tomorrow.. Rays have always in the past been terrible on the road, be nice to get a series win to open season.

At 25 years old he's probably more spry than Floyd, Gomes, Pena
Great to see the LH bat of Hinske in RF. If he can show at least average outfield skills, this helps reduce any time that Gomes/Floyd will be trogging around out there.
