nice

I really was impressed with Atlanta and their hitting last year once teixeira was traded to the braves but the problems are still there. In the bullpen mainly , but I am really wondering if my hopes for this team were misplaced.

It was hard to see from spring training but I am really thinking the problem with the braves is not having the owner to make the moves. Once Turner gave up the braves it went to a sort of faceless corporation,Liberty , and I am really wondering if this team made the moves they should have

Tom Glavine, as good as his career has been, is aged and it certainly is not like the mets gaining Santana.

Kotsay wasn't a bad deal but I wonder how much these owners are really going to move for this team and really make some trades.this bullpen is a disaster

Hopefully smoltz will be ready to go and my hopes are still there but it just seems like the same problems from last year.

Too early maybe to be worried ,but losing to the pirates, as bad as they are ,and the nats, who knows they are off to a good start, but this is not a great start for the Braves.

I was going to post on the same thing man. Terrible, just abysmal. 5 runs in the 8th and 9th combined.

The braves have put a 3 spot on the board in the 9th against the Pirates. Very shaky bullpen play today.

the braves bullpen ,mark my words ,will be a solid fade this year it looks like. bullpens have killed me over the past two years but this one is one of the worst.

You are correct man. They maybe have one guy right now that can get it done, Soriano. The rest suck. Just like last night. Tied the game up, and bottom half of the inning solo shot to lose the game.

Its great to have the starters they have with Glavine, Hudson, Smoltz, etc, but the bullpen will be their weakness, although they can score 10 runs a game with their offense.

I think tonite the problem was Glavine was pitching well and only went 5 innings on opening day. Whats up with that? He had only given up 1 ER. He needed to go 7 if possible to hide that shotty bullpen.

he threw 101 pitches...he was laboring the entire game...sat right behind the plate to watch it...his line is impressive...but in person, it was nothing special...threw more balls than strikes
