Record: 1-4 -3.15 Units
Definitely not the start I wanted. It'll turn around soon enough though.
Toronto Blue Jays +147
Pitchers: Halladay/Wang
The rainout actually helped me get a better price. Like them for the same reason I liked them yesterday which is they have the better starting pitcher with a better history against the competition.
Boston/Oakland Under 8.5 -120
Pitchers: Dice-K/Blanton
This one should come in easily. Oakland can't hit and Dice-K should dominate in that spacious Oakland park. Blanton can deal at home and Boston can't hit on the road that well. Bullpens will be the only way this goes over.
Texas/Seattle Under 8.5 +100
Pitchers: Padilla/Felix
Padilla is kinda scary but Seattle's offense is pretty bad. They don't get alot of hits or guys on base and just don't put up huge numbers that much. Felix is an incredible pitcher and always dominates the Rangers at home. No one on that team can touch him.
Houston Astros +180
Pitchers: Backe/Young
Chris Young is an excellent pitcher but generally gives up runs every time out. At least a few of them. Backe has an up-and-down history overall but he always seems to have success in pitchers' parks and Petco is the best.
SF Giants +141
Pitchers: Cain/Lowe
San Fran's offense may be crap but with Cain on the mound, it's possible LAD doesn't score anything. Maybe it will take me a couple times of getting burnt on the Giants to realize how bad that offense really is, but I haven't learned my lesson yet.
