I'm in the market for a new favorite to take over my old favorite of Miller Lite. Any suggestions? Last week i bought Penn Weizen and really liked it. It's high on my list. What's in line for this week? Preferably cases under 30$. I'm going for best taste/price. Thinking about something Sam Adams for this weekend.

Amen on the Smithwicks.. but how you go from Miller Lite to Sam Adams.. is beyond me

You like Miller Lite and want something different or similar?
If your a fan of Corona try Modelo Especial.. way better
Theres a lot of good beer out there
If you're looking for pilsners man I can name a shitload I like, but whether or not your going to like them is different.. just try a few and see what ya like.. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings.. they have a shit ton of beer on Draft

If you are gonna have a few, I like Bass Ale. If you plan on drinking all day and all night to get stinking drunk, I recommend Rolling Rock.

When I turned 21 last year i didn't really know any good beers when going to the bar. Miller lite was the common thing around me so that's what i started out with. Lite beers just don't do it for me anymore. The local bar by me has 100 different kinds of beer and I started a list, i like to try anything.

PBR, that stuff is a bit on the bad side when it comes to taste.

Right there's your problem. You won't aquire the taste until you outgrow the others.

Tried

Guinness stout - Good for maybe one beer but after that the taste just irritates me.
Dos Equis - nothing special just a normal beer
Coor light - no way
Miller lite - not anymore
Delirium Tremens - loved the taste but this import is VERY expensive
Sam Adams cherry wheat - pretty good would buy it again
PBR - nasty
Steel Reserve - Nasty
New Castle Brown - liked the taste, may look into getting it again.
Penn Weizen - Great beer, little pricey at $30 a case for a college student. Just had it last week.

When the weekend rolls around i'll look through the thread and look up reviews to see what it's gonna be.

I just wanna see what kind of responses i get from the experienced around the forum.

Or you can go to a local beer tasting. Or you could go to the nearest liquor store with the best variety and try some singles.
