2 Runs last night, but 10 hits. All singles. 15 hits this season....all singles.
One of the problems with an old team is that you are usually a slow team as well. They had 2 situations last night where a guy on second base did not score on a single (actually 3, but one was a line drive off Lowe's leg, so that doesn't count.). They also hit into 2 DP's, and Rowand struck out with Durham in scoring position and 2 outs. In their defense, the 2 situations were hit to CF, and Jones has a cannon, so even a fast player may have gotten gunned down, but we will never know.
So, they had their chances. But, in order to score runs, you can't be a station to station team.
