Girlfriend murdered in 1994. Murderer committed suicide after he shot her. Tough to swallow because first thought after such a situation is REVENGE, but he was dead. Have thought many times about taking sledge hammer to his grave or taking a hearty dump on it, but that would only hurt his family.
All I can hope for is that there truly is a Satan and that he's paying the price.
On a much brighter note, I was in Vegas for a convention in September of what I believe was around 2003. It was a Sunday and I was supposed to be on a grand canyon tour but decided to stay in the Mandalay Bay sportsbook and watch nfl games with my business partner at the time.
The helicopter crashed and all on board died.
The NFL saved my life. True story.

Found one of my best friends dead after having a seizure & somehow suffocating on his waterbed. Shitty....we had a tight knit group who had been tight since jr high & all through high school and college.
He was 22-23. Hell of a thing to walk into after realizing that he was oversleeping & was going to be late for work.

cousin was about 10, I think, had a heart attack and died
kid I played little league with went to work with his father one day during winter, weather was bad, roads icy and his father drove off a bridge, both died.
another friend from HS had a heart attack while driving and rammed into the car in front of him and died. was only 19 or so.

We were at a party and the cops came. Everyone was drunk and high, but one of the girls we were with had a father who was a big shot cop. He told us to leave. GF went tith the cops kid and I went with my boys (she had a 2 seater). We were following them and about 1/4 of a mile from my house when they blew a stop sign and got crushed by a 18 wheeler. We saw it happen obviously and were the first "on scene", not pretty to say the least and something I wish I could not relive as I would have not gone up to the mangled mess to look.
Still get drunk with her brother a few times a year.
