Favorites: 2-1 for +.96 units
Underdogs: 2-0 for +2.7 units
Total ML: 4-1 for +3.66 units
Run lines: 0-0

Unless otherwise noted, all plays are for 1 unit.

Arizona +112: Tough loss with the D-Backs last night, but I don't expect this bullpen to blow leads like that very often. As for this game, generally I'd take the young pitcher against the young offense, but this isn't your typical young offense. I rate Cueto very highly, but a lot of solid contact hitters should make his debut a difficult one. I like the better team to rally around Doug Davis today and pull out a win.

LA Angels -110: Ervin Santana finally breaks his road curse this year. Angels offense won't be quite two straight days.

Working on some others. BOL.

Thanks gabbana. Good to see you're still around as well. Hoping 'Zona can get off their asses and score some runs as Doug Davis isn't looking sharp.

Chicago Cubs -140.

A couple of close games made for a stressful afternoon in the office. Ended up 2-1 for +1 unit though, so I'm happy. As for tonight, I'm going to take a shot with all three games.

NYY/Tor o9, +105: I rarely play over/unders in MLB, and something seems fishy about this, but I bit anyways. Most obviously, the Yanks could cover this number on their own, even against a solid young pitcher like McGowan. As much as I will be riding Dustin this year, I don't like this spot for him. He's had troubles in the past in Yankee stadium, putting up a 7.88 ERA and 2.19 WHIP in 5 appearances (3 starts). He's had some success against some of the big Yankee bats thus far, but I don't know how long that can last. Plus, he's coming off the flu, which can't.

On the other side is kid phenom Phil Hughes. I understand people are expecting huge things from him, but I don't think he can shut down this veteran Toronto offense. Hughes wasn't spectacular at home last season, and had particularl problems with the Jays in Yankee Stadium. I think this goes over easy.

Baltimore +114: Love getting a home dog v. the Rays. As bad as Trachsel has been against the Rays, Sonnanstine has been far worse against the O's. In 3 starts against Baltimore, Sonnanstine has an 8.04 ERA, a 1.85 WHIP, and a .353 BAA. He's allowed 24 hits and 14 ERs in only 15.2 IPs. TB has a good shot as surprising some people this year, but they shouldn't be favored on the road with Sonnanstine on the hill. And anyone who paid attention to my threads last year knows I have a soft spot for Steve Trachsel when pitching at home. I'll take the small dog.

Atlanta -153: Too many people are on the Braves today, making me a bit nervous about this one. But I just can't reisst backing this Braves offense the way they've looked so far. I think Zack Duke potentially could be a decent major league starter, but his road numbers last year were just awful, as I'm sure most remember. In 54 IPs, he allowed 91 hits, 45 Rs, 9 HRs, and put up a 6.17 ERA, a 1.93 WHIP, and a .387 BAA.

BOL to all tonight.

Should have known better with that total. Nothing like what I expected. If I can pull out the Braves game, I'll feel very lucky. But I'd rather be lucky than a loser.
