Phillies started the last two season 0-3, and have the chance to do it again this year. I think they have a good chance of breaking out today, though. A couple notes on the Nationals lineup...Aaron Boone is starting over Nick Johnson and Dimitri Young at first base, Elijah Dukes is out for a few weeks and Felipe Lopez is going to play left field for the first time in his life.
So yes, I'm backing the oldest player in the big leagues in Moyer. Moyer actually beat Bergmann his last time out against the Nats though and didn't allow an earned run. None of the Nats have fared well against him besides Kearns.
