I've never used WSEX Long Term Markets and I'm trying to figure how this works.....

<table border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td colspan="4" class="lines-contest-title"><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="lines-contest-title">2008 PRO BASKETBALL EASTERN CONF (1-Pay)</td> <td class="lines-contest-title" align="right">$100 WIN </td> </tr> </tbody></table> </td> </tr> <tr class="lines-contest-header"> <td height="25" valign="bottom" width="74%">Series Name </td><td align="right" valign="bottom" width="8%">Sell </td><td align="right" valign="bottom" width="8%">Buy </td><td valign="bottom" width="10%"> </td></tr><tr class="lines-contest-oddrow"> <td>[EC] BOSTON </td><td align="right">45 </td><td align="right">49 </td><td align="right" nowrap="nowrap"> +104 </td></tr><tr class="lines-contest-evenrow"> <td>[EC] DETROIT </td><td align="right">22 </td><td align="right">26 </td><td align="right" nowrap="nowrap"> +284</td></tr></tbody></table>

Say, for example, I wanted to put $300 on Boston at +104 and $100 on Detroit at +284. How would I do this? It's probably really easy and I'll feel real stupid afterwards but I'd appreciate the help.

you cant put 300EXACTLY on boston bc the price wont allow you to. you would buy

6 shares of BOSTON @ $49 for a total of $295 if they win the east you would get back $600 for a net profit of $305

as for detriot same thing applies you cant bet exactly 100 on them you would buy

4share of DET@ 26 for a total of $104 if they win the east you would get back $400 with a net profit of $296

and if you made both bets and invested the $399 on both boston and detriot

if boston won you would net 201
if det won you would net 1

Thanks for checking out our long term markets.

Let me also add that another feature is the ability to lock in profits or cut your losses before the end of the event.

If Detroit started doing well and they went up to 40-44, you could sell some or all of your contracts for $40 a contract.

If Boston gets cold and drops to 15-19, you can sell some or all of your Boston contracts for $15 a contract. Or you can buy more at $19 if you think they will turn it around.
