Disappointed with myself for my plays last night. But moving on.

Florida -115: It's not like teams are really tired this time of year, but the Pirates are coming off a dramatic extra inning win and fly into Florida to face a Marlins team that had the day off yesterday. I think Olsen takes a step forward this year after a huge leap backward last year. Morris has been a bad pitcher on the road the past couple seasons and I think the young Marlins offense gets to him.

Currently have a bunch of leans and am going to look a bit deeper before posting any afternoon plays for today. BOL.

Updated record. I think it's accurate now. May have to rethink my score keeping method as it's getting just a bit confusing. Back shortly.

Can't figure out why the Brewers are such a whopping favorite. I like Villanueva, and the Crew were very solid to start the season at home last year, but -200? I'm tempted to take the Giants, but right now I'm a bit scared off by their thus far awful offense. Aside from the slight lean, right now I'm liking some favorites.

Colorado -125: I like the Rockies to win their home opener. Owings is a good candidate to regress a bit this year and should have trouble in his first start against a solid offense with a good mix of veterans and youth. And it's a day game in Colorado, which can't be good for a young pitcher. Only problem with the play is I need Redman to not suck, which I think will be the case today.

I also like the Tigers and Cubbies today, but am going to wait a bit and maybe check out the lineups (particularly Detroit).
