According to research on baseball-reference.com, six teams since 1900 have gone 0-4 or worse to start a season and went on to make the playoffs. All of them did so in the era of divisional play, starting with the 1969 Twins. The 1999 Diamondbacks were the last team to do it. The 1995 Reds and 1974 Pirates both started the year 0-6 and won their respective divisions.

Yorman Bazardo, Aqulino Lopez, Zach Minor, Jason Grilli and Bobby Seay aren't going to scare anybody in the Tigers bullpen. In addition, the loss of leadoff hitter Curtis Granderson really hurts the offense.

Wait 'till next year Tigers fans.
