...why would the results of your wagers on the early games matter? Why would those results influence if you bet on that late game, and for how much?

That screams of that person either chasing or betting with scared money.

Am I missing something, or is that absolutely ridiculous?

Chasing or not wanting to lose a profit is really the only reason. But im sure everyone had done it before.

I just bet all my games right away to avoid a bad early day making me not bet a game i would have,

It is A R, Skinser

I lost the last couple of nights, so tonight I'm going BIG BIG BIG

Clearly someone without the long term perspective that there are good sports betting options at least 350 days a year.

But are such bets More or Less Ridiculous than having a really Handsome Picture of Derek Jeter as your avatar?

So theoretically, if you were a good handicapper, you'd never do this. Right?

I mean I can understand why someone would succumb to frustration and chase once in a blue moon, but to acknowledge that you're waiting for the results of early games before determining what you're going to do on a late game that you apparently REALLY LIKE, that's retarded, isn't it? Admitting that you're either going to chase or bet with scared money, depending on those early wagers.

Just making sure.

Saying you are going to wait on the results before you decide is retarded and a terrible idea. But if you dont bet all the games at once most people will subconsciously make different bets later on.

Lest my earlier screwing around posts got misnuderstood, I do agree SKINS that slapping 2x, 3x or more on later night bets compared to your normal standard is likely a poor case of money management.

The "I'll check early results before I decide Late risk level" is tantamount to, "I can bet more late if I win early because I'm Playing With House Money", which may be the most foolish mantra a smart investor can utter

"House Money" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Once you win, it's your money. It no longer belongs to the house. Just because it wasn't money from your regular paycheck doesn't mean your not losing it if you go and make a big bet to try to double your profit.

or maybe the handicapper wants to wait and see how his early games do to determine how much to put on the play he really likes? for instance, if i liked a late game a lot, i'd consider putting two units on it. now say i had a good afternoon in which i profitted 3 units +, i'd more than likely consider putting another half to full unit on that late game. on the other hand, if you had a bad afternoon, its your decision to make: stick with the 2 unit play or do you want to set a limit on how many units you can lose per said day? again, lets say i lost 3 units in the afternoon and told myself to never lose more than 4 units per day. i already know im down 3 units, if i risk 2, im risking going over my predeterminded limit of 4 with a loss.

glad to see your one of the hundreds checking my threads everyday skins.

Nah barman, I understood your earlier post, and I pretty much had my mind made up before I posted...I just wanted to double-check to make sure I wasn't missing anything before making a final determination about someone.

Gentlemen, we have an amateur handicapper pretending to be a savior in our midst.

barman, you going to the Bash in August?

You have just confirmed your ignorance for all of us (although you really did that yesterday when you called GreenDoberman a moron, who's probably one of the top 5 most knowledgeable people on this forum and surely near the top in this industry).

Thanks for playing. Have a good night.

Looking pretty over 80% shot here...I had not realized that RxForum gives up two nights of hotel to Trusted Folk, so that's a nice motivator. The SheBar gets just enough exposure to the Rx to have her interested in joining us too.

I should be able to confirm by late May

Oh and since I so far haven't been one of the "hundreds" who visit the Saviour thread "each day", the above bleating post made me curious so I looked at the Forum listing.

Here's a tip for those new to the use of vBulletin software forums.

"217 views" doesn't mean that Two Hundred Seventeen people have viewed the thread.

It means about 20 people have read the 10 posts therein.

HTH any possible Delusions of Grandeur so that more time can be spent on polishing your mirrors at home when you need to your pimp strut

Or if you really like the late game, do an if-bet based on the late game being your best/biggest play.
