Sounds European. Please explain what it is in layman's terms and if it is worth betting on more importantly.

It's indoor soccer. Kind of like Arena football is to outdoor NFL, i guess.
Though i 've never bet on it, it seems to have some interest in Europe.

Futsol is a wimpy version of soccer - ball basically stays on the floor (heavier than a regular ball, kinda dead when it hits the floor) and they limit contact between players. Didn't think was even possible to make a sissy version of soccer, but they managed to do it.

I play in a futsal league. We lost the final on Wednesday night in OT. Here is the winning goal for Portugal.

Most likely the only thing Portugal will win this year so I cheered.

Ha ha very true. Let's not forget however, that Portugal will have THE best player in the worls wearing their shirt this summer.
