Going to be at the Cubs game tomorrow so I probably won't be back until the night games.
Here's what I'm liking...

Phillies ML +135
Harang is on the mound for the Reds with a 7.39 career ERA vs the Fightin' Phils. Eaton hasn't faced the Reds too much but has a 2-0 career record against them and during his career he has always pitched better during the day. I also like the way the Phillies lineup matches up against Harang in this spot.

Red Sox ML -120
A feeler pick more than anything else. I like Clay Buchholz in this spot and I just can't help but think the Red Sox will win this game, tie the series at 1 game a piece, and make tomorrow's Beckett/Halladay matchup a great rubber match.

Pit/Fla u9.5
Should be a solid baseball game that looks to be close throughout. Only fear I have is Hendrickson being rocked by the Pirates. Don't fear it enough to stay away though. A 4-2 final would be great.

Hope I am not speaking too soon here...because I am on the White Sox...

But what a difference a year makes with that Sox pen. Done a helluva job so far...and looks like it has gone from an eye-sore to a strength.

As I type...Linebrink gets Ordonez to ground into a DP...and gets the mighty Cabrera to pop up...3 outs away from sending the Tigers to 0-5.

Ramon...I really like what Kenny Williams did. 6 inning ballgame's...if they have the lead...they have the horses to close it down. Not even close to what they had LY...night and day...

Plus, another fine start by Gavin Floyd vs Det.

Tony -

What I'm seeing from Boone Logan and Linebrink and even Octavio Dotel minus his first outting is very impressive. Also, what Swish and OC are showing at the top of the order, it's scary and very similar to the 2005 team. I hate to get my hopes up but they're up lol. To think we are a few bad calls by the umps from one game (1st game of the year) from being 4-1. Buehrle/Verlander should be good tomorrow.

For everyone else -
0-3, -3.30 units on the day

Horrible day for me. In the books and in real life. My parents got in a car accident and I was with them for hours. We just got home. Everything is fine for those who car, they're in good shape. They were shaken a bit and they're up there in age (65 and 57 respectively) so it just..... got my attention. I spend a lot of time with them but it just doesn't seem like enough. And today, it put things into perspective for me. Maybe all the time I spend on here arguing with people can be replaced with time spent with my parents. I'm going to take some time off these next few days just to do that. And I won't be gone forever, no way. I'll be back soon.

Very sorry to hear that about your folks' accident...I know what its like to lose a parent...so I know the stress you were under yesterday...
