Sometimes they say that the meter had been rigged or something and that they were not really high bills. Shit I wish I knew how to rig my meter during summer down here and not have my $350 bill.

ADT, you aptly note that for every house "busted", there's likely 10x that many in same region. Plus of course, each one busted simply leads to another which replaces it.

Nothing better for lazy cops than to be spending their time chasing illegal farmers.

PPP, there's certainly a reduced market for homegrown product in South Texas due to the easy proximity for Mexican and Central American pot to be shuttled and quickly dispersed throughout south and Central Texas.

Not the busts but in Vancouver and the suburbs there are HUNDREDS of grow ops, it's one of the few ways people can afford the Half million dollar average home price.

Since 2006, there have been 143 "grow houses" that have been busted in this area.

143!!!

http://www.nbc-2.com/googlemaps/2006growhouses.html

I just find this really suprising. I mean really, if they have busted 143, how many must there really be around here? I am guessing 10x that number at least.

Remarkably, despite being illegal for nearly 65 years, domestically grown marijuana is one of the top cash crops in the U.S.

By most rankings, America's domestic marijuana crop is easily valued in excess of $10 billion annually and usually ranks in the top 10 cash crops.

In the latest NORML Marijuana Cultivation Report, the organization ranked marijuana #4 as the most valued agricultural product in the U.S.

Ironically, back in the 1970s, there was virtually no commercial market for domestically cultivated marijuana. Today, thirty years later and after expending billions of wasted tax dollars, domestically grown marijuana now constitutes, according to the U.S. government's anti-drug bureaucracies, upwards of 35% of the marijuana consumed is "Made in the U.S.A."

the government should just pay farmers to NOT grow weed... just like they do with other crops.

never heard of a cop getting killed because a farmer cashed a Subsidy Check.

Not 50% of the pot grown in Mexico ever reaches Texas. Since 9/11

Lehigh. hahahahaha. Played many a baseball game out there.

Where at, Lehigh HS?

Ever play golf at Admiral? It was one of my favorite courses as it was kind of short and very cheap and always empty and well kept as opposed to Mirror Lakes (sister course), that was LONG (par 6) and a cow pasture!

Mostly little league all stars. I went to FMHS, but lived off of alico. I played admiral once or twice. I did like sister lakes better, however, since you could get totally hammered and drive it a mile.
