7-7 +$85.00 Ytd +.8 Units Ytd

3)DETROIT -1.5 +130 $300 for $390 GOM
3)TORONTO under 8 -115 $345 for $300
2)DODGERS +125 $200 for $250
1)GIANTS +210 $100 for $210
1)Rangers +152 $100 for $152

A lot of good live dogs today.
DETROIT is looking like its going to be my top pick for APRIL. Feel free to also bet the ML if you dont like taking home teams on the runline. The value is just as high on the ML as the RL.

I just took the RL because I think DETROIT will by more than one run.

Good luck and have a good one.:money8:

how do you know its the game of the month when there's still 24 days of betting after tomorrow? isn't it a little premature

Because historicaly speaking, a game rated as high as this game, normally is strong enough to end up being the top rated play of a given month.

This play will certainly rank in my top 7 plays of the year unless there is an abnormal amount of games this season rated higher.

But I did say:
DETROIT is looking like its going to be my top pick for APRIL.

Which means that I am not 100% sure it will be that it will be, but im almost certain.

I normally put 4 or 5 units on plays like this, but since its April and very early in the season im going to hold off on betting more than 3 right now.

Becareful with that GOM. Buehrle is beyond focused after that pitiful first start. Put a guy like him with his stuff inside a big ballpark like Comerica?

Verlander 1-4, 5.96 career vs. white sox

But you must have your reasons and best of luck.

What "stuff" of Buehrle's are you referring to? His 87 Mph fastball?
He gives up a ton more hits than IP every season, and strikes out three per 9 if he's lucky.

His cutter is one of the best in the game. Solid change of pace guy. I'm a huge white sox fan but not a big buehrle fan but he's a solid, consistent pitcher. If he's on, he'll be getting right handers out by getting them to groundout with his cutter low and in.

He does give up a lot of hits but thats because he doesn't mess around and throws a lot of strikes. His career 1.27 WHIP isn't the best but it's solid. Look at Dontrelle today, gave up just 1 hit in 5 IP but gave up 3 ER and had a whip of 1.60. How? 7 walks.

Hate to lay a run and a half with the Tigers right now but have to figure that if Polanco can get his head out of his ass they could get it done. Verlander should show why he's the ace. If they don't win this one you might see Leyland fist fight Ozzie Guillen.

GL Chop I enjoy your picks! Been following you for a few years now-your a solid capper.

going by my numbers this would have been my 3rd highest play of last season.

So I doubt I have another game like this in April.

If I had to predict I would say 8-2 Detroit.

We will see.

you put way to much weight into overall past stats without really looking at them. in his last 20 IP vs the chisox he has given up 8ER and 11 hits. The guy is like 25 and debuted at 23. Things change, hes young.

if detroit at a 3 unit play is a GOM, then why is the 3 unit play on the jays under not a GOM as well?

GL Chop!!! Glad I'm not the only one on SF.....probably gonna tail ya on DET depending on how my day goes. Good thing it's the night game so we can all watch it WIN hopefully!! I've been following Verlander very closely since he came up and the WSox have been a thorn in his side, BUT being at home and them desperately needing a win I feel he does his part. Just need the offense to produce for us.

Thanks for the good luck.

To answer the question on why im playing the same amount as the Toronto total.

Its because I have a 3 unit cap on my games in April to mid May.
