We've only seen the tip of this iceberg. If you wouldn't get killed, you could probably make a few million selling "Fuck China" T-shirts over there.

This is going to be ugly, ugly, ugly.

Just wait until the torch shows in San Fran. It will be worse than the mess in France.

What I've found interesting is the number of people from China/Tibet speaking in favour of the regime and against the protests in UK newspapers like The Times and The Guardian, especially in the on-line letters to editor and article responses.

time and a place for everything. I saw stories about people throwing shit at wheelchair atheletes trying to carry the torch in France. So some guy in a wheelchair is getting his little moment of glory and people cant even respect that. The world is full of selfish assholes

they dont have free press so the average Chinese person view is heavily indoctrinated by their governments media spin

seems like China has a problem in that the idea that this event wont be 1000% perfect drives them absolutely APESHIT, but they cant control the international reaction. They are used to control. And they cant ignore it, which normally is what they would do.

But any potential stain on the Olympics drives them crazy. Id say most in the West dont really even much care about the Olympics anymore anyway. But they dont seem to get that. Its huge to them

Unfortunately, when you have a country like China, it's takes something like the Olympics to get any attention at all.

I put the blame squarely on the IOC. A country like China should never get something like the Olympics, period. People forget how bad the Chinese regime is when it comes to human rights. It is a rogue regime in my book, in the same category as Iran and North Korea.
