will be remembered by cdr missing 3 straight free throws with less than 2 minutes left in the game and coach cal not having them foul the guy before he could get off the game tieing 3 pointer. im still sick to my fucking stomach. also, the turnover on the inbounds pass that gave up a 3. fuck i bet memphis didnt turnover an inbounds pass all fucking year. im expecting some nut from memphis to go postal sometime today.

Years down the road it will be known for that shot and not the miss free throws. They never dwell on the negative when they show flashbacks.

the only people that will remember the missed free throws is the people who bet on memphis but I think it was one of the best games I have ever watched

Rob,

Did you see the other day where Buckner was very emotional in his media appearance about being honored and etc? The one line I saw (as I was multitasking) caught my eye, something to this effect: "it took me this long to overcome this as i felt betrayed by the media". What are your thoughts on him being very distant the last 20+ years as a Red Sox fan?
