kevin love and oj mayo are kidding themselves if they think theyre ready for the nba. it was just crazy to read all the preseason publications where those two were just completely full of themselves and talking like the nba is just waiting for them to arrive. the only one who should even think about leaving for the league is beasley. and even he could use one more year. but love and mayo wont sniff playing time any time soon.

Derek Rose is NBA ready. Obviously, everyone benefits from staying in school for the seasoning, but Rose will have an impact right away

The NBA is a complete joke anyway. Love is smart because he won't be drafted super-high and can make a difference on a team that can be a contender.

Right now, projections have Portland taking Love. Can you imagine the potential of that team with what they have coming back and getting Oden and Love coming in?

LaMarcus Aldridge is easily better than Love. Love would ride the pine in Portland (although he will ride the pine wherever he goes).

Love is maybe 6'8", plays below the rim, and will be dominated by athletic big men

Whormoan...

Any chance that Love does not get drafted in the 1st round at all?

Are you trying to say he's a white man's Gyno Pomare?

Nobody is as unathletic as two-left-foot Gyno. But Love is a slug who got away with butchering people in the Pac-10. Other than Lopez, he didn't play against a quality big man all yr until he saw Dorsey who abused him.

Obviously, he will mature as he is just a freshman, but I don't believe his ceiling is very high.

Who cares how good an outlet passer you are in the NBA if you can't get a rebound.

love is a step above mark madsen. His career will be slightly better then mad dogs. Collison was exposed vs memphis. He really needs another year in college.

Can't blame the guy for cashing in. I could care less if I was NBA ready. Show me the money.

Wouldnt it be easier to improve your basketball game playing as a "pro", than to have to worry about the ncaa and the hoops they make you jump through?

Seriously, all he has to do now is focus on bball. He could give 2 shits about anything else. Plus he will have god knows how much money in the bank also.

He WILL be a lottery pick and who knows how much cash that brings in? I am sure he will never "have" to work another day in his life though.
