What's the better bet?

Can anyone explain how to evaluate what is the better bet of two lines, for example u10' -120 vs. u10 +100? This type of thing comes up frequently (not just with the numbers given here) and I'm always left scratching my head. :think2:

the -120 means if you bet $120 you will win $100. +100 means you bet 100 to win 100

10' = 10.5 i think

so he's wondering what is better: u10.5 -120 or u10 +100

Yes I fully understand the -120 vs. +100, and by 10' I mean 10.5.

This is how I look at it. If I'm liking u10, I'd rahter have u10 +100 than u10.5 -120.
