Im going to be in vegas the weekend of the hopkins fight. Ive never been to a fight before and thinking of going. Can someone tell me if its worth it to spend 250-300 dollars for balcony seats. Will I actually see the action? Or am I better of watching it in a bar and betting the money on the fight?
Having been to several fights, I can tell you in all honesty you are better off saving your money and going to the bar.
Usually they have fights the night before somewhere in town and you can get front row seats for $25-$50. Better fights most of the time too with some top prospects.
I'd check out the Crown and Anchor when you get in town to see if they are showing the fight. It's a British bar and will no doubt be rocking with Calzaghe fighting.
