playing texas minus the chalk.

how steve trachsel is still pitching every 5th day in the majors is beyond me. era close to 5 the last few years. horrible numbers in his career against texas. orioles playing above their heads out of the gate. and the rangers throwing their best pitcher out there today in milwood. hate to use the 'its a great spot' cliche, but im comfortable laying some juice with the rangers this afternoon given the favorable setup.

Millwood has been great this season thus far. He supposedly did extra work in the off season after a terrible season last year so he certianly is pitching to prove something this year.

Earlier...I read something about it in the bases forum today...but now the thread is gone or has been moved...

If you are a tout... is this a comp play or something?

Tout = An individual that charges players/gamblers for service/plays. Service being in the form of plays/picks in any major sport.

Examples of touts = Jim Feist, Kelso Sturgeon, Wayne Root, Reed Harris, etc.

I was reading a thread in the bases forum today...was Choptalk's play from Wednesday...an individual in that thread, suggested that prodigy was a tout.

Seemed to be some confusion,...as he did not have a link in Site Promotions.

So I asked the question...because I wanted to know if he charged players for picks.

At one time he had his website in his profile but it's been gone for a couple of months now I think. I don't remember what it was. Pretty sure he charges people for some kind of service that includes picks. Make your own conclusions.

And let him respond, also.

Wow, Millwood clawed through 6 innings of 1 run ball. He reall did a good job of working out of trouble. 7 base runners just 1 run. Suprised he is going back out in the 7th with 99 pitches.

one base runner and i would pull millwood--100 pitch is over the top at this point in the season ps=hill to start for chicago

CBS is really weird.

It said he got 1 out in the 7th, and now its going back to the 6th inning.
