Apr 10 Manager Lou Piniella plans to swap Hill and right-hander Jason Marquis in the rotation the next two days, provided Marquis -- who was sent back to the hotel with the flu Wednesday -- is well enough to start Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.Recommendation: The Pirates tend to club lefties (.311 average and .447 slugging entering Wednesday's game) compared with right-handers (.254, .379), and Marquis had two exceptional starts against Pittsburgh early last season.




Hill is still the listed pitcher, any word if he will still start?

As of right now..almost game time....all local media including radio say he's starting..

WTF are they taking him out for.

Might as well have taken him out in the 1st if your gonna do it now. Give him a chance to get you 5 innings and still in the game.
