3-0 last night and now profitable for the year (about time) so I had to change the thread title. Picks coming shortly if I get around to it.

Okay picks are really on the way now. Gonna start the handicapping process and will have them up in the next hour. Sorry for the delay. I know everyone is anxiously awaiting these plays since I'm finally profitable haha.

AL Bets:

Oakland Athletics +140
Pitchers: Blanton/CC

Gotta figure something is wrong with Sabathia. The A's hit him in Oakland and they are not a good lefty hitting team. The White Sox hit him as well in the opener and those guys can't touch lefties usually, and haven't touched Sabathia historically. Blanton will give up a few runs to a hot Cleveland lineup but he's still a good pitcher and with Cleveland's bullpen the way it is, I gotta be on the doggy.

Boston Red Sox -113
Pitchers: Buchholz/Wang

Wang has pitched great this year but has a poor history at Fenway and the Red Sox seem to be heating up offensively. Buchholz had a somewhat rough start to begin the year but it's not easy to pitch in Toronto and the Yankees still haven't started hitting to their potential yet. At home, I think this is a solid play at only 13 cents from a pick em.

Detroit Tigers -110

Pitchers: Willis/Contreras

Detroit's bats seem to be heating up and Contreras is shot. Willis is iffy to have success this year but the White Sox don't hit lefties well and D-Train looked good against them in his opener, even though he had some control issues. Detroit should kill Jose though.

LA Angels +103
Pitchers: Felix/Weaver

Weaver is throwing well right now and this Seattle offense just doesn't impress me at all. They rely on the home run and Weaver is doing a great job of keeping the ball in the park. Felix is absolutely filthy so far this season but he has had bigtime issues with the Angels in the past. If he only gives up a run or two, that may be all the Angels need since I don't see Seattle putting up anything offensively today.

I think you have earned the right to come out from "under the bridge" Jake; your work is solid. Best of luck on your plays tonight.

Chicago Cubs -105
Pitchers: Zambrono/Myers

Brett Myers is struggling right now and with the Cubs hitting and Myers being at home in his tiny park, that's not a good thing to be doing. He's likely to get hit pretty hard here. Carlos Zambrono is an overrated pitcher in my opinion but one thing he does very well is rarely give up the home run, which will help the Cubs win this game in a park that homers are the easiest way to score runs. Philly isn't hitting as well as they should be either with Rollins' ankle dinged up.

Milwaukee Brewers +100
Pitchers: Parra/Figeroua

The Mets aren't hitting that well and this is the first they've seen of Parra. Although I don't think Parra has success this season, the first time around the league should see him do decently enough. The main reason I am making this play is because Figeroua is starting. The guy hasn't even pitched in the majors in like four years and just doesn't have it anymore. The guy wasn't that great of a starter back in his prime so you shouldn't expect much of him in this spot start.

Atlanta/Washington Under 8.5 -105
Pitchers: Hudson/Chico

Well Hudson should dominate the Nats like has earlier this year and for the last few seasons. Chico is a bit of tossup but he's good at not pitching well but also not getting rocked. He's also had some success against the Braves last year. At only -105 with one pitcher likely to dominate, this total just made sense.

More on the way.

Thanks Mack. Hopefully it's steaks this week and not trash can leftovers. Stella Artois and not Milwaukee's Best. :toast:

San Diego/LAD Under 7 -105
Pitchers: Peavy/Penny

The Dodgers do not have their bats going at all and Peavy is throwing as good as ever. He dominated them last year and should dominate them this year too. Penny had some issues against the Padres earlier this season but he's still a good bet to put in a strong performance at home.

At Bookmaker where I bet these:

My Boston line is 7 cents better.
My Detroit line is 7 cents better.
My ChicagoC line is 19 cents better.
My Milwaukee line is 7 cents better.

All others are the same except the Atl/Was total which moved against me.

What I'm trying to say is that I move lines with my $20 bets. Billy Walters may be the only figure more influential in the offshore world.

That is all.
