Let me find $140k of bank money. I'd hand it into my landlord, strippers, and fine restaurants.

I would try and covertly determine the source of the money and unless it clearly came from someone who was not insured for such a loss, I would most definitely keep it.

Get a safe deposit box immediately and begin methodically laundering the money out over the next 12-24 months.

Either that or I'd initiate my long desired goal of $1000 3teamer per day Thread at the Rx for next seven months.

I can only think that anyone who "misplaces" that amount of cash, really does not need it that bad. I am thinking I would keep it.

I'd keep it, but how would one deal with 140k in $20's? You couldn't take it to the bank...

keep it. yeah you think on judgment day God will say something. you think it'll be karma like on my name is earl and good things will happen to him. bullshitt. the guy's house will prolly get repoed with some fluke health issue and he'll hang himself for not keeping it. what a dumbass

it's called reverse karma and happens a ton of people. the poor guy deserved to keep this

A lot of visits to the casino. I would have kept it myself as normal people don't lose $140k cash in bags.

As I understand, it was all un marked $20.00 bills left on a bumper of a Brinks truck that took off and it fell off the truck. I would have kept it, that simple-its insured. It was easy to see how it was packaged, as well.

Yep...That's what I meant about the safety deposit box. You can anonymously fill it in several visits over a few days so as to get the bundled cash out of your house.

Then just launder it out in short doses over a couple years.

Would love to say I'd do the right thing, but would probably blow it. Or at least turn it in $40K light because "that's how I found it sir".

I guess it would depend if the Money bag, money bands, etc was Marked

In the past I have turned in Wallets ( with & Without $$ )

I think the Biggest problem would be that Someone would see you take it
so I guess I would turn it in.

Oh, by the way. That $2K Reward I think is BS
Should have been $5K

To get a reward of only $2k.........I would keep it and visit the casino alot to change the 20's into 100's than slowly depositing it. The rest will be sitting in a safe deposit box.
