Look Incredible. New Orleans Will Be Exposed Come Playoff Time Maybe In 1st Rd Against Denver. Kobe Proving To Paul Tonight Who Really Is The Mvp.
I Normally Don't Get Excited About One Game But This Is A Total Ass Kicking Early.

The Lakeshow looks exceptional tonight, they really came out and made a huge statement in the 1st quarter. Blowing out the Clippers early last night and being able to rest all the starters for the entire 4th quarter was huge. And it was nice to finally hear an american announcer Joel Meyers have an intelligent conversation with David Beckham...:103631605

Hornets made a late run but the lakers held them off. Nice win for the purple and gold. Next up spurs on sunday. Anyone know who has the tie breaker between hornets and lakers?

Lakers hold the tiebreaker over NO -- the season series is tied 2-2, but the Lakers would have the better conference record.

I wasn't so impressed with the Lakers as I was disappointed with the Hornets in the 1st half. They let Lakers players penetrate with ease. Part of the problem with the Hornets was that they were getting many quality shots in the 1st half, they just weren't falling. It wasn't a result of good Lakers defense.

Of course we saw in the 2nd half that the Hornets adjusted their defense and were able to get their shots to fall. The Lakers may have held off the Hornets but they blew a 30 point lead. I'm not impressed with that even though they got the win.

It will be a crime if Kobe is not the MVP. Chris Paul is a great player, but 100 out of 100 coaches, GM's, and bettors would put their $$$ on Kobe if they had to rely on somebody to win a game for them

can you imagine if he had been traded to Chicago? This NBA season would have been completely different. The Lakers wouldn't have traded for Gasol, the Suns probably wouldn't have traded for Shaq, and the Mavs probably don't go after Kidd.

no matter how they got it a 30 pt lead against the # 1 seed in the west was very impressive. in the 2nd half, human nature took over as no played harder and lal let up. very common occurance, especially in the nba. lal announcers said at start of 3rd q that they rather lakers have a 10 pt lead than a 20 pt lead.

Kobe can pretty much lock up the MVP with a win over the Spurs Sunday.
