dont know why you wouldnt play oakland, getting 2-1.....even if fausto can shut oak down clevs pen is not the type to blank teams often (although they did a good job last night).....their bats are hot and pitching has been solid.....ride the teams that are hot and fade the teams that are not
IMO there is no value playing +1.5.....basically i am rooting for my team to lose by exactly 1 run.....if they win on the up I potentially lost almost 1.00 on the play.....would have to lay -11 to get +1.5 but can get +97 for the win
if feel the same way on short home dogs in the nba or ncaa.....why bet your team at home to lose by exactly 2-3 pts when you can take them on the ML +115 to +135.....chances are they win on the up or lose by more than the 2-3 they are getting
Hot team with bad pitcher. Which happens, the hot team wins or the bad pitcher sucks. If the bad pitcher sucks, the A's will get blown out and will lose by more than one run. If the bad pitcher pitches a decent game, the hot team should win. Either way, I can't see the A's losing by just a run. They win or lose big, meaning taking a run and a half and giving up a buck in juice, isn't smart.
