The Tigers have been overvalued nearly every game this year. There have been a few games in which I deemed them fairly valued, but I have yet to handicap a game where I could say the Tigers are coming at a price in which they provide value. The reason in which I have consistently handicapped them at a price much less than the going market price is not because I expected them to play this poorly, rather I strongly feel the market has yet to fully discount the absence of Zumaya, Rodney, and Granderson.

My suggestion is until one or two of these players come back, don’t expect value to be on the Tigers (simply because you are not being compensated for the absence of three integral players on the team). Can they win today? Sure. But at +120, it’s hard to make a case they are carrying any value.

As far as waiting for their bats to produce at a level they should be producing at, when that day comes, they will more than likely be accompanying that much more of a premium (especially if that day comes prior to those three players coming back).
