Adam Eaton comes to mind. The Phillies threw a ton of money at him for no apparent reason. I know the guy has potential like crazy but he is a fly ball pitcher that has issues with homers. Who in their right mind would think that the easiest (or close to it) park in the majors to hit home runs would be a good fit for the guy? Horrible signing.

Who else comes to mind?

Good ones. Throw in the DT the Raiders just signed as well. I can't even remember the guy's name but he was maybe slightly better than the league average at DT and the Raiders made him the highest paid guy at that spot in league history. There is a reason why that team stinks.

Jesus Jake I click this thread with that name in mind to type in. Worst in Phillies history IMO, what a dud.

That one was pretty bad. Hitters in Philly just naturally get 10-15 more homers a year and SF didn't pick up on that fact in my opinion. It's easy to say he's developed power but it's so common for Philly hitters to do that and he only has had one good year.

Zito. Play against the Giants on the RL everytime he starts and you'll show a nice healthy profit. So far this year. 3-0. Scores: 0-5, 0-7, 2-8.
