1. Oakland-CHW OVER 9

Both of these teams have played well out of the gate and both have shown a lot more offensive officiancy than I expected from them. The whitesox just steamrolled a Tigers team in turmoil, while I dont expect them to go pummeling this Oakland club they should be able to put up a good sum of runs at home against the young lefty, (CHW 3-2 vs southpaws). Oakland surprisingly went into cleveland and whooped up on lefty Sabathia and Carmona, scoring 16 runs in those two games, they have been studly on the road and Burhle career is a miserable 3-9 vs these guys and his 8+ ERA is nothing to right home about, really expect this thing to hit 11 or 12 runs tonight. 220/200

2. Minn-Det OVER 8.5 (-120)

Simply dont have the balls to play a Detroit team to win that just looks entirely out of sync, but I certainly expect their offense to turnaround soon and if you look into bonderman against Minnesota lifetime he is 3-6 and gives up quite a few hits per game, while bonderman has been one of the few brightspots thus far I dont forsee him going the distance and the Det pen has just been unbearably bad, honestly look for Tigers offense to finally strike early and often off the young guy. 120/100

3. Tampa Bay +107

Really hard for me to take tampa over New York any time but this spot just fits to perfect not to take them here for a multitude of reasons:

#1- Most likely no Jeter tonight and the other double play parter Cano couldnt hit a beachball right now.

#2- Appears from another post that Joba will not be there tonight, more pressure on MO if it came to that and other releivers that just arent all that good.

#3- Sound like Molina wont be able to catch, so Posada will be back there laboring.

#4 Sonnanstine has been deceptively good against the yanks, earlier this season he gave up 4 runs over 6 innings but he was spotted a really nice lead so He didnt have to nibble around as much, went right after the guys, and his start prior to that against the yanks was 8IP 0 ER.

#5 Ridiculous amt of pressure on Ian Kennedy tonight after really struglling against these rays earlier this season and then having that BS where he didnt start and bruney did yet he came in later in the game.

#6 and possibly the biggest: Last 5 games for each team in innings pitched by their starters: TB 33 IP NYY 25 IP and were it not for Wang going the distance it would be worse, NO joba tonight and a beat up bullpen spells trouble for the yanks.

not to mention that the rays pounded Kennedy for 6 runs in 2+ innings
