April 15th- who doesnt have their taxes done yet

Because of the job I have I get a huge tax return back so it is like Christmas time when tax season arrives. Seems like growing I always heard how April 15th was such a scary day but now it seems like everyone I know gets a nice refund. This is why I ask if anyone here hasnt filed yet and why?

I plan on doing my extension (with payment) after lunch. I still have a few things to sort out that I hope will help with my '07 taxload.

link to extension...remember if you owe you must submit payment with or will be penalized..

iceman; if you're getting a chunk back you should really switch your withholdings...you're giving the gov't an interest free loan

irs.gov, have to pay $1

Did federal ones last night, turbotax figured out a way to save me over $100, looking back should have even been even more -- and should have been claiming it since 2004. . .

Will do state today online and will have money coming back, hopefully over $100. . .

HR Blocks was real easy

love the way they say "Free" than at the end they say free federal, but State is 35 bucks!

anyone who spends an hour filling in numbers will pay the 35, so smart on their part for milking the money

also you need to do them to get the $600 rebate check.

And seniors without income if you know any need to fill out some special form by midnight tonight to get a partial rebate check from the goverment
